Hope you all had a great weekend. Mine was great with a lovely wedding celebration on Saturday and a few good surfs.
This week is a pretty special week. First of all, I’m starting a new job. I will reveal more in the coming days when it’s fully official. Don’t you worry!
Second of all, it’s Sustainable Seafood Week and two leading not-for-profit organisations, the ASC and MSC have joined forces to promote it. Interestingly, research shows that three-quarters (74%) of Australians believe we need to purchase certified sustainable seafood to safeguard our oceans, yet only one in ten (9%) currently do.
We can make a difference in safeguarding our seafood by shopping for products which carry the blue and green eco labels. These can be found across fresh, chilled, frozen and canned seafood items at your local supermarket.
