Life is precious
Morning my friends,
[UPDATE TO THE BELOW POST: As Lifeguard Harrison Reid mentioned in the comment section on Instagram, this was a fake alert, just a swimmer that left his belongings overnight and people thought that he committed suicide. My apologies for the fake news, definitely not my intention to do something like that but the message remains the same, please look after yourselves and check on your mates.]
Hope you are well. My apologies for the radio silence the past few days but between being busy with work and the average sunrises I didn't take any photos.
This morning was glorious but sadly we woke up with the sight of a helicopter looking for a body lost at sea. Earlier today, someone decided to take their own life by jumping from the cliff of South Bondi.
This is honestly devastating to witness. I appreciate that some people can go through rough patches but life is too precious to do this.
If you ever feel down, chat with your family and friends, mental fitness organisations such as Lifeline Australia (Call 13 11 14), Beyond Blue (Call 1300 22 4636), join some of the local Mental Fitness Communities that I listed out in this blog post or you can even reach out to me directly, I would happily listen and aim to support you.
Please take care of yourselves, life is too short not to live it to its fullest and check in with your friends and family.
Lots of love ❤️🫶🏼❤️
Xoxo
