Morning my friends,

Is Summer gone already? That was short!

Today is pretty miserable outside... We still went down the beach with a good intention to train but quickly changed our plans and skip the whole exercise bit. Just met for coffee and chat with the gang.

So instead of bringing you a dose of grey sky and rain, here are the photos that I took on the last day of 2016. Were you down the beach or at the Bergs catching some rays?

As every Wednesday, I have the little one with me so I have to wait for her to wake-up before hitting the beach.

Around 7am, we joined my good mates Hamish, Pierre & Patrick for coffee and chat on the platform South Bondi - which we call the Morning Bondi HQ.

Whilst we were talking and Charlotte was entertaining us with her babbles, I was taking a few shots. Here is the selection of today, hope you like them...

Morning my friends,

Happy New Year! All the best for 2017...

Hope you had a great break, mine was pretty special, 10 days in Bali with the whole family and then 5 days to rest and enjoy summer in Bondi. I've posted a few photos on Instagram if you want to check what it was like: @MorningBondi

Ouch! This is how I felt this morning when my alarm clock rang at 5:30am... So hard to wake up that early after almost 3 weeks of holidays, but glad I did it. We went to the jungle gym with the crew, that's when I felt a second 'ouch!' - no exercise for the last 3 weeks, I was so stiff...

Anyway, then the best bits, coffee & swim.

Morning my friends,

Today is going to be another hot one in Sydney, 38 degrees, and believe me you could already feel it at 6am. This morning I had to rush so I just went for the essentials: photos and swim. The sunrise was hidden by the clouds and the water was flat and pretty amazing. Definitely the best way to wake up in the morning, especially after a long night with mates.

OMG! This morning was just WOW! The bar is very very high, it's going to be hard to beat one morning like this for a while. Here are a the few reasons: the sunrise was sun-sational, there were some decent waves, the number of people around was incredible, we were nearly the whole Morning Bondi crew together and the water was the perfect temperature to wake-up!!

Now I'm off to work with a sun burn and a stupid smile on my face...

Morning my friends!

Hope you all had a great weekend. Mine was pretty awesome, a bit of swim, a bit of surf, a pretty epic Summer party with mates at the newly refurbished Hotel Bondi (thanks for the invite guys!) and a lot of time with the family - what else would you ask for?!

Today was stunning and as every Monday it was pretty quiet so even better... Went for a run to Bronte and back, photos, swim and chit chat with my morning friends.

Have a fantastic week and enjoy the photos this week as next week I will be in Bali so no photos for a little while.

One word: BOOM!

After a pretty grey week and a massive thunderstorm last night, today was just amazeball. I went later than usual as I had to wait for my little Charlotte to wake up. When I arrived down the beach, the sun was quite high, the water was super flat and there were quite a few people making the most out of it.

So hard to leave the beach on days like this but don't you worry I will be back tonight for sure!! :)

Alright let's be honest here, this week has been pretty average and taking photos of grey sky all week is not necessarily what I enjoy the most.

Is that challenging? Hell yeah!

I do like the challenge but trying to excite people with dark and gloomy colours is far from an easy task.

As every Wednesday I was with my little assistant... We joined the Morning Bondi crew at the café, quick chat, quick coffee and direction the platform for a few shots. It's always challenging to have Charlotte in the Babybjörn and take decent shots. Theses ones are the best that I could take...

Light show.

RAIN + STEAM + SUN = WOW!

Today was a pretty special day, it all started grey and raining but then OMG when the sun decided to pop it was just a magnificent show to watch. We just went down for coffee and swim with my mates Julius & Magnus. Coffee was great and water perfectly refreshing!

First day of Summer.

Today is the first day of Summer! Yew! The sunrise was a cracker, the water temperature amazing and when I went down there at 5:40am I was far from being the only one. I just went for the photos and a dip in the ocean - pretty in a rush as today is my company away day. We are going with the whole agency to a pretty fine venue Bells at Killcare and staying overnight - so no photos tomorrow morning. Sorry guys! You have two options for tomorrow morning, either you wait patiently Monday for the photos or just follow me on my personal Instagram @AmauryTreguer as I will be posting a few stories! It's up to you...

Full house.

OMG! This morning was packed, you can tell that summer is around the corner - actually it starts tomorrow. Bring it on! You might be bored of telling me how good were my mornings but I can't help it. Today, no training, just the fun bits, coffee, photos and swim with my mates. We even had a guest appearance from Nick from Le Noeud Papillon - always great to have a laugh before starting your day.

Life is a beach!

Once again another amazing morning down in Paradise Land. We went to the monkey bars in North Bondi, did a few reps of push, pull & abs, then swim between the flags and coffee in South Bondi. What can I say, it's hard to beat a morning like this!!

Blanc de blanc

The light coupled with the steam of the waves made the whole beach monochrome. This morning I decided to push myself and went for a run up to Coogee and back - all this in exactly an hour and one minute. Was it exhausting? Yes! Do I like to show-off? Yes a little! Hope you all had a great weekend, mine was brilliant.

FriYeah!

What a cracker! Today was amazeball, I went with Charlotte for a quick coffee / catch-up with my mates and then a walk along the beach. There is never a dull moment down there, we saw a fashun shoot at the Bergs, a kookaburra patrolling the beach, some yogis on the beach and some big waves.

OMG.

This was me this morning at 5:40am when the sun decided to pop up from the clouds. It was just magnificent! Seeing the reflection in the waves was just an incredible show to watch. Today we went to the jungle gym with my mate Magnus, then swim in South Bondi and coffee at Chapter One. Hard to beat a morning like this!

10 minutes.

Time that it took me this morning to take these 5 photos. As every Wednesdays & Fridays, I take my daughter down the beach with me but today she decided to sleep in so I had to wait for her to wake-up. ;) We joined my good mate Magnus for a coffee and a dip in the ocean. Water was just amazing!!

Scorcher!

Brace yourself my friends! Today is going to be a hot one, 32 degrees exactly. Once again, I woke up earlier than usual so I actually decided to go to Bronte for the sunrise and back in Bondi to exercise with my mate Paul. The Bronte ocean pool was already packed with swimmers and photographers at 5:40am, including Rosie & Kerry. The sun rising from the ocean is such an amazing show to witness, you blink and it's already high in the sky. The speed is just incredible!

5:20.

Today I decided to wake up earlier than usual as I could sense it was going to be a cracker. I'm not a fortune teller but I did pick the right morning for it. ;) The sunrise was magnificent, the surf was pumping and the sand was warm enough for our feet. We went for a sand run with Julius & Magnus and a dip in the ocean. With all the seaweed between the flags, we had the impression to be literally in a salad dryer. Then usual coffee at Chapter One with the rest of the gang.

Les archives. Another day, another rainy day… As I could see it was not raining, I ventured down much later than usual, around 6:45 am. I just arrived and a light drizzle started. What are the chances?! I joined my mates for a quick dip in the ocean and coffee at Chapter One (my unofficial gallery, they have five of my prints on the wall). Still worth going out, if you ask me… Have a great day my friends and stay warm as it’s a bit nippy at the moment. Ciao, Amo PS: I’m going camping this weekend with a bunch of mates but pretty sure I don’t have the right equipment to cope with the cold. I only have a summer sleeping bag… It’s going to be fun, they say. 🤦🏽‍♂️🥶

Rainy days. Do you know what rainy days mean? It means archive days. Here are photos from the past couple of months, most of them were my second favourite ones so you wouldn’t have seen them before. As you know, I love doing my Morning Bondi routine but it actually takes so much time. I’m talking about the photo bit especially. At the moment, I take photos from 6:30ish when the sun is up for roughly 30-40 minutes, then selection of the good photos for 20 mins, light edit the best ones for 10 mins, then write the morning blurb for 3-5 mins (I tend not to overthink this, as you can tell), then upload of each individual photos on the blog for 10 minutes, then newsletter for 5 minutes, then Instagram for 3 minutes, Facebook 3 minutes and Instagram Story 3 minutes. Basically, around 1.5 hours on average. So yes sometimes, I’m glad when it’s raining as I’m saving so much time. Have a beautiful day, despite the weather, and chat with you tomorrow, Xoxo Amo

Golden Sea. Slow start this morning, it was pretty average unless you could wait up to 8am (I couldn’t) to see the sun popping out behind the curtain of clouds. It was all about the golden reflection of the hidden sun on the water. Gold 24-carat for a few minutes. I don’t have much to tell you today except that if you live locally and love ‘Shark Tank’ TV show, you will love the local version of it. It’s called the Bondi Innovation Shark Tank organised by the @bondichamber and it’s next Wednesday at @hotelravesis You can find all the deets in the media release and book your tickets on the blog. I’m going with my awesome business partner Mary Proulx and supporting Sam Cust, one of the sharks (I think that’s what we call them). If you come down, let’s have a beer and break bread (what I love the most about our business name is that the puns are endless). I loaf you! (see) Amo

Nothing to worry about, it's just a tornado off North Bondi, ... 🌪️😲 I took this photo this morning around 9:30 am. I was shooting with @versefinejewellery in South Bondi when we saw this waterspout tornado coming out of nowhere. Scary much? Look closely and you can see the person around Ben Buckler's cliffs running for his life... That's all folks!

Pure Heaven. What another beautiful start to the day! While yesterday was all about big waves, today was all about the mad reflo on the sand - absolutely stunning. I was sitting just next to Morning Bondi HQ and was snapping like a maniac. Low-tide goodness. What a stunning morning! Today was all about the low-tide gold reflection. It was just the perfect conditions for photos. The problem, only a few people out including two metal hunters. I was with fellow Frenchy @dianeperreau all morning. I reckon she’s the most popular French person in Sydney. So many people are stopping her every morning to have a chat and take a selfie with her. Have a lovely day my friends, Ciao, Amo

Into the wild. What a cracker of a morning! For a change of scenery, I ventured down to Bronte this morning. I reckon I made the right choice, it was just an incredible show. I was with my mate @paolocattaneophoto for the entire morning and we were just looking at the waves rolling in. Bronte Pool was the best place in da house. If you follow me on Instagram, you would have seen the very rare video of me talking to the camera. With @bread_agency, my agency, I recently started working with the team from @in2thewild.aus, the best tiny houses business around. In order to have a better understanding of the experience, the client kindly invited me to go for a couple of days with my wife and daughter. Real legends, best onboarding! The whole experience was amazing - especially for someone like me that is pretty hyperactive. I just ‘re-wilded’ for two days. Even though the network was working where we were, I put my phone in airplane mode the whole weekend and made the most of the experience. The tiny house was kitted with all the things that you need, all the products in there are premium and sourced from ethical brands. Let’s be honest the firepit and outdoor bath were the highlights for me. I would highly recommend it to anyone, especially if you are like me and struggle to switch off. FriYay. How’s everyone today? After two days in Melbs (Melbourne for the hipsters), I’m back in the hood. What a morning! Incredible light, the surf was ON and the Icebergs was packed - perfect for photo ops. This morning I caught up with my mate Ben, a fellow Frenchy that I haven’t seen for years. We hung out around the Bergs and finished with a swim in South Bondi - how original. Enjoy your weekends my friends. Mine is going to be pretty epic. I’m going into the wild, literally.
