Morning guys,

My apologies for the late update but I had an early meeting and heaps of photos to chose from...

This morning was pretty incredible with some amazing waves coming through. A few surfers were out there scoring the waves of their lives. A bit big for my 7.6" foamie board, so I went for a run instead with my mates Bertie, Julius & Bruno.

Other than this, a few weeks ago one of my friends shared a photo competition with me and told me to enter, which I did. I have now been selected as part of the Top 30 finalists which is a fantastic news! Now, I need your votes for the People's Choice prize. Would you be kind enough to vote for it? Morning my friends,

Third day in a row that Bondi looks like a total mess... Personally, I love it when it's rough like this!

This morning, we went for a Bondi to Bronte run with my mate Bertie (no sighting of Will Smith today), then usual coffee, photos around the Icebergs as it's definitely the place to be when the surf is like this and then quick swim in the gigantic washing machine that was the ocean. Surprisingly, I was by myself in there! ;)

Morning my friends,

There is never a dull moment down in Bondi... and I'm not talking about the fact that my friend Paul bumped into Will Smith on his Bondi-Bronte run but the light show that we witnessed in the space of 15 minutes.

I barely slept last night because of a sick baby so no running this morning, just coffee, photos and swim. It was well worth dragging myself out of bed...

Hope you all had a good night sleep. I personally did after the few beers that I had with my mate John last night.

This morning, I went down for a Morning Bondi session with my daughter who decided to wake up at 5:40am. I think she loves it as much as I do, she keeps on saying "La Plage" (Beach in French)

Unfortunately didn't see much sunshine this morning, only from my living room when I was getting her ready.

Morning my friends,

Happy New Year folks! All the best for 2018...

How is everyone? Hope you all had a fantastic break and enjoyed some time with your family and friends. I certainly did!

I've been meaning to start back my routine earlier but the weather has been a bit funny so didn't want to start back on a grey raining day. Instead, I decided to start on a colourful raining day...

The sunrise only lasted 5 minutes but it was well worth it. When I took these photos there was a light rain but the sun still decided to pop up.

We then went for a run with Bertie and joined Hamish, Julius and PE for coffee and swim. We did some body surfing - so much fun!

Morning my friends,

Today the sun played hide and seek... It was on and then off a minute later.

I tried to take photos only when the light was on but that was not that easy plus on top of that I had my daughter with me so that was adding an extra level of complexity.

Tomorrow, not sure I will be able to make it to the beach as my mother is arriving in town in the morning and I need to pick her up at the airport.

If like me your parents are coming over or if you are looking for a place to stay in Bondi, you should check Kay's apartment on AirBnB HERE. I went there two days ago to deliver a print, it's pretty large and only a minute walk from the beach.

Morning my friends,

Today was a scorcher, 27 degrees at sunrise with not much air...

I went down the beach with my daughter, bumped into a lot of our friends, went for a quick swim while Uge looked after Charlotte (thank you very much mate!) It was too hot out there not to go for a dip...

Get ready Sydney, it's going to rise up to 35 degrees today!!

Morning my friends,

This morning I woke-up before my 5:20am alarm clock so decided to get out of bed and head down to the beach.

The first lights were incredible but I was still at home. However, I was down there for 5:40am sunrise. So early these days!!

All the photos below have been taken before 6am and I think I did well by doing so as after our jungle gym session in North Bondi the light was gone, covered by the clouds.

Morning my friends,

Hope all you had a great weekend. Except Friday night where I was out, mine was very relaxing.

After spending a month here, today is Magnus last day in Sydney. So we decided to go for a sunrise swim, photos and coffee with the rest of the gang.

We did well as the light only lasted 10 minutes and that were the 10 minutes when we were in the water. Perfect timing!

Have a safe trip back home and enjoy the winter in Copenhagen. Grrrr....

Morning peeps,

I'm Back 2 Bondi (B2B) and it feels damn good... Don't get me wrong Sri Lanka was just incredible but glad to be back to my routine.

I definitely recommend Sri Lanka if you haven't been there - it's just great, people are lovely, the wildlife is incredible and not that many tourists yet. It's also pretty cheap! Renting a surfboard for an hour. How much? $1.5 You can't beat this!!

While I was away, I had the chance to get featured on Mountain Active's blog. What is Mountain Active? Pretty cool watches, Australian designed. Go and check it out here. Pretending to be a model is not that easy. Thanks to my mate @MagnusOmme for making me look alright!

This morning, no exercise, just coffee with my mates, photos and swim...

Morning my friends,

What an amazing start of Summer! It could have hardly started better than this...

The sunrise was a cracker, the temperatures inside and outside the water were delicious and heaps of happy people all around.

We went for a run up to Bronte with my mate Bertie and I stopped along the way to take a few photos. Thanks again to my friends from Olympus for making SLRs so lightweight and compact!

I guess that's it for today, unless you haven't seen my Instagram post from last night. Morning my friend,

What's the day today? It's Thursdhaze. What a magnificent morning! How to finish Spring on a high... I reckon it's probably the best morning that we had this season. It's going to be hard to beat a morning like this.

We went to the jungle gym for our (stupid) 15 minutes challenge. Basically you end-up smashing: 50 chin-ups/pull-ups, 100 push-ups, 100 abs and a bit of high intensity running. After a good sweat, coffee, photos and swim.

Today, I got a bit excited and came home with 8 gigs of photos. Not cool for the selection and editing. Here are 14 of them...

Morning peeps,

After a pretty hectic night with not much sleep, I ventured down the beach slightly later than usual.

I just went for coffee, photos and swim, all by myself which is quite rare these days. I usually always have at least one mate with me - not today! ;(

It was pretty grey when I arrived around 6:30am but then between 6:45-6:55am, we had a quick window of bright sunshine, that's pretty much when I took most of my photos this morning.

Now it's back to grey and about to rain...

Morning my friends,

What a cracker of a morning! Today was just spectacular: sunny, warm and beautiful. The perfect beach day!

Chuck a sickie or go for an afterwork swim if you can...

Today is all about boys, I reckon I never featured that many photos of dudes in one album - probably a bit too much actually. What do you reckon? Would you rather have girls in their bikinis? (I would)

Richy not too sure about the water temperature - Fair enough, it's a bit cold at the moment.

Les archives. Another day, another rainy day… As I could see it was not raining, I ventured down much later than usual, around 6:45 am. I just arrived and a light drizzle started. What are the chances?! I joined my mates for a quick dip in the ocean and coffee at Chapter One (my unofficial gallery, they have five of my prints on the wall). Still worth going out, if you ask me… Have a great day my friends and stay warm as it’s a bit nippy at the moment. Ciao, Amo PS: I’m going camping this weekend with a bunch of mates but pretty sure I don’t have the right equipment to cope with the cold. I only have a summer sleeping bag… It’s going to be fun, they say. 🤦🏽‍♂️🥶

Rainy days. Do you know what rainy days mean? It means archive days. Here are photos from the past couple of months, most of them were my second favourite ones so you wouldn’t have seen them before. As you know, I love doing my Morning Bondi routine but it actually takes so much time. I’m talking about the photo bit especially. At the moment, I take photos from 6:30ish when the sun is up for roughly 30-40 minutes, then selection of the good photos for 20 mins, light edit the best ones for 10 mins, then write the morning blurb for 3-5 mins (I tend not to overthink this, as you can tell), then upload of each individual photos on the blog for 10 minutes, then newsletter for 5 minutes, then Instagram for 3 minutes, Facebook 3 minutes and Instagram Story 3 minutes. Basically, around 1.5 hours on average. So yes sometimes, I’m glad when it’s raining as I’m saving so much time. Have a beautiful day, despite the weather, and chat with you tomorrow, Xoxo Amo

Golden Sea. Slow start this morning, it was pretty average unless you could wait up to 8am (I couldn’t) to see the sun popping out behind the curtain of clouds. It was all about the golden reflection of the hidden sun on the water. Gold 24-carat for a few minutes. I don’t have much to tell you today except that if you live locally and love ‘Shark Tank’ TV show, you will love the local version of it. It’s called the Bondi Innovation Shark Tank organised by the @bondichamber and it’s next Wednesday at @hotelravesis You can find all the deets in the media release and book your tickets on the blog. I’m going with my awesome business partner Mary Proulx and supporting Sam Cust, one of the sharks (I think that’s what we call them). If you come down, let’s have a beer and break bread (what I love the most about our business name is that the puns are endless). I loaf you! (see) Amo

Nothing to worry about, it's just a tornado off North Bondi, ... 🌪️😲 I took this photo this morning around 9:30 am. I was shooting with @versefinejewellery in South Bondi when we saw this waterspout tornado coming out of nowhere. Scary much? Look closely and you can see the person around Ben Buckler's cliffs running for his life... That's all folks!

Pure Heaven. What another beautiful start to the day! While yesterday was all about big waves, today was all about the mad reflo on the sand - absolutely stunning. I was sitting just next to Morning Bondi HQ and was snapping like a maniac. Low-tide goodness. What a stunning morning! Today was all about the low-tide gold reflection. It was just the perfect conditions for photos. The problem, only a few people out including two metal hunters. I was with fellow Frenchy @dianeperreau all morning. I reckon she’s the most popular French person in Sydney. So many people are stopping her every morning to have a chat and take a selfie with her. Have a lovely day my friends, Ciao, Amo

Into the wild. What a cracker of a morning! For a change of scenery, I ventured down to Bronte this morning. I reckon I made the right choice, it was just an incredible show. I was with my mate @paolocattaneophoto for the entire morning and we were just looking at the waves rolling in. Bronte Pool was the best place in da house. If you follow me on Instagram, you would have seen the very rare video of me talking to the camera. With @bread_agency, my agency, I recently started working with the team from @in2thewild.aus, the best tiny houses business around. In order to have a better understanding of the experience, the client kindly invited me to go for a couple of days with my wife and daughter. Real legends, best onboarding! The whole experience was amazing - especially for someone like me that is pretty hyperactive. I just ‘re-wilded’ for two days. Even though the network was working where we were, I put my phone in airplane mode the whole weekend and made the most of the experience. The tiny house was kitted with all the things that you need, all the products in there are premium and sourced from ethical brands. Let’s be honest the firepit and outdoor bath were the highlights for me. I would highly recommend it to anyone, especially if you are like me and struggle to switch off. FriYay. How’s everyone today? After two days in Melbs (Melbourne for the hipsters), I’m back in the hood. What a morning! Incredible light, the surf was ON and the Icebergs was packed - perfect for photo ops. This morning I caught up with my mate Ben, a fellow Frenchy that I haven’t seen for years. We hung out around the Bergs and finished with a swim in South Bondi - how original. Enjoy your weekends my friends. Mine is going to be pretty epic. I’m going into the wild, literally.
