Hi guys,
For the ones that have been following Morning Bondi for quite a while, you would know that I rarely take photos on weekends (except for specific photo shoots).
Today between the delivery of a frame and the coffee/shoot planned with Shaun Birley, I had 20 minutes to kill so I went down to Bondi Icebergs to take a few shots.
It was literally insaaaaaaaaane with gigantic waves crashing from North Bondi to South Bondi - not one corner of the beach was spared. Some of the waves were that big that you could only see half of North Bondi.
In my 8 years in Bondi Beach, I have never seen a show like this and the best thing is that I had no idea that it was going to be like that - which made even better!
Here are the photos, get ready to be blown away by the size of the swell.
J-Bay, Hawaii, Cape Fear - what's that?! ;)
BOOM!
Respect to this guy who was alone in the surf.
Madness is starting...
When it's still fun...
Sea veil
Sea-spray all over
BOMBS!

When you think you are safe, it starts again!
Debriefing (lucky they were both alright at the end)
Bubble bath anyone?!

Total madness
