Morning my friends,

How is everyone today? Me?! Amazing!!!

Yesterday, I was lucky enough to have the official Instagram and Twitter accounts of Tourism Australia sharing one of my photos. The photo has been receiving more than 50,000 Likes so far (no I didn't add a zero) and 1000's of comments. Thanks so much to the amazing team at Tourism Australia. You rock my friends!

Other than this today was not bad at all - it was a bit cold at 5:30am but once the sun was up, it was perfecto! Waves are back and gawd it was rough...

We did jungle gym with the gang led by Matt, then coffee and what we do best having a ball!

Morning my friends,

This morning was just unreal for literally 3 minutes...

When I arrived down the beach this morning, you should have seen me... I quickly parked, grab my daughter, my camera and ran to a vantage point in South Bondi... I knew that it was not going to last long. I was right just 3 minutes all up.

We stayed at the same spot, took roughly 20 photos and done... Then we joined Julius and Simon for coffee. Such a productive morning if you ask me, I wish it was like this everyday. ;)

Otherwise, how good was the weather yesterday? Incredible temperatures, it just didn't feel like winter at all. I went down the beach with my mate Carlos for a dip and some photos. Some of you might have already seen them on @MorningBondi Instagram - for the ones that I haven't see below.

Morning my friends,

This is what I call waking up with a BANG! OMG!

Have you had a chance to witness the sunrise? It was just amazeball and only lasted 10 minutes max.

This morning we went for a South Bondi to Dudley Page Reserve run in exactly 32 minutes - smashed it! Then coffee, photos (for only 10 minutes) and swim...

Such a great and efficient morning!

Morning team,

How is everyone today?! Did you get a good night sleep or a great day, depending on where you are in the world?

This morning was a cracker, yes I know another one... I tend to repeat myself but what I can say - I like to call a cat a cat.

We went down the beach with Charlotte to meet the gang for coffee, chit chat and photos. For a change I took the 50 millimetres lens out and not my usual 24-105mm. As you might notice the photos have got a different feel to them - personally I like it. What do you reckon?

Morning peeps,

My apologies for the late update my friends, I had another early meeting.

This morning was another cracker, god we are lucky this year - 18 degrees in the middle of winter is not that bad. Actually it’s nearly freaky. Global warming is a real issue... Other than this, heaps of humps today, mainly closing out though.

Today, I started my morning by punching pads with my mate Paul, then coffee, chat at the Icebergs with Charles and finished off my routine by a swim.

It is by far the most amazing way to start your day…

Morning my friends,

That's right today was a relay of surfers... One after the other going in and out of the water. All the local surfing legends were there and catching them all (like Pokemons). So crowded out there and the waves looked pretty good fun!

We did jungle gym with the gang, coffee, photos and then swim with my mate David. He finally decided to follow me and he said that it was the best... Another one convinced about going in the water in the middle of winter!

Morning my friends,

How was your weekend? Mine was not bad at all, thanks for asking. I actually did a lot, from shooting the insane swell that we had all weekend, catching up and taking photos of Shaun Birley the Aussie version of Ryan Renolds to even taking photos of young mothers for Movemami.

This morning the surf died off compared to this weekend but it was still pretty amazing

Hi guys,

For the ones that have been following Morning Bondi for quite a while, you would know that I rarely take photos on weekends (except for specific photo shoots).

Today between the delivery of a frame and the coffee/shoot planned with Shaun Birley, I had 20 minutes to kill so I went down to Bondi Icebergs to take a few shots.

It was literally insaaaaaaaaane with gigantic waves crashing from North Bondi to South Bondi - not one corner of the beach was spared. Some of the waves were that big that you could only see half of North Bondi.

In my 8 years in Bondi Beach, I have never seen a show like this and the best thing is that I had no idea that it was going to be like that - which made even better!

Here are the photos, get ready to be blown away by the size of the swell.

Morning my friends,

Another day, another change in conditions... The surf was still big but this time it was the sky, really stormy morning!

I went for a Bondi-Bronte run, then coffee with Dave & Paul and finished by a rippy swim. The current was pretty strong but well worth it, water is pretty warm these days compared to the cold sand.

I guess that's it for today.... Oh probably one last thing, if you have a chance check the Instagram Story that I put together last night - @morningbondi. Instagram is killing the organic reach even further so basically you are not necessarily served anymore with my posts unless you have been interacting with them lately (ie. likes or comments) Therefore I strongly suggest you to "Turn on the notifications" to make sure that you see them all!

Morning my friends,

A bit of a late update as I had an early meeting today, it was totally different than yesterday but just amazing!

From Lake Bondi yesterday to avalanche of waves today.... It's incredible how the surf can change from one day to another!

No training today, just coffee, photos and swim with the gang. The water is at the moment full of sharks, apparently there were between 8-10 sharks at lunch time yesterday. Check Bondi Lifeguard, Deano's video, it's pretty amazing!

Morning peeps,

Oh My Gawd!! What a morning my friends, it was just incrediiiiiible!

Probably, the best winter morning that we had so far. The sky was on fire... It was just an amazing show to watch and took 300+ photos - way more than usual. So hard to pick the best ones.

I was with my daughter Charlotte and caught up with a lot of my mates which made the morning even better: Rich, Keiron, Hamish, Paul & Simon. Such a great way to start the day!!

Other than this, yesterday I was invited to a pretty cool event, the official release of Google Home. I'm sure some of you might ask what the frog is that?! Well, it's my new mate... I can ask whatever I want and he automatically responds to it without asking questions. What's the weather like? Switch on Netflix for me. Play Britney Spears (just joking, I would never ask this!). Morning Bondi!

Pretty mild morning. Woke up at 5:30am and trust me the temperature outside was totally bearable.

The sunrise was pretty stunning with some orangy/pinky clouds. The reflections on the apartment windows were spectacular.

As every Tuesday, we went jungle gymming with the gang, then coffee, flew Simon's drone, chit chat, dip in the ocean and back home...

This morning was pretty good I have to say, considering that it's Monday. We went for a run up to Dover Heights with Bertie and joined Hamish & Julius for coffee at Morning Bondi HQ. Today is a very special day for French people, it's our National Celebration, Bastille Day! Yew!!

Reporting from the beach for TODAY Show, Channel 9. This is what happened this morning...

The sunrise was a cracker with amazing colours in the sky, we spent the whole morning with my daughter and our good friend David Finato, the surf was pretty small despite the predictions, the temperature outside pretty mild and the water was probably sensational. Impossible to go in, looking after Charlotte and taking photos was already a challenge...

Bonjour my friends,

Another beautiful day down in ParadiseLand... Since the beginning of the month, we only had an amazing weather, hope it stays like this for quite a while. I voluntarily don't look at the weather forecast so no spoiler alert my friends.

This morning as every Tuesday we went to the jungle gym for some push / pull / abs excercise... No joke it took me 45 minutes to finally warm up and then we had to stop. We then went on Morning Bondi HQ (platform above the toilets in South Bondi - how sexy) for a bit of banter between mates, photos and I went alone for a swim. My friends are too soft! ;)

Morning my friends,

Hope you all had a great weekend, mine was pretty special. From a boys night on Friday night, a good surf session on Saturday arvo, feeding lorikeets with my daughter, playing with bubbles in the park and a new fresh haircut - could have hardly be better. Today the light was unreal, I had a long chat with my mate John and finished off with a swim. Water is alright, the run to the outdoor shower is a different story...

Morning my friends,

There is no way that the day could have started better than it did...

That's right: there were wales in the bay (like I'm talking 100 meters from the surfers), the sunrise was a beauty, I was with almost all my mates and the water temperature excellentissimo!!

I'm not too sure what to add to this except have a great weekend peeps!

Another day another cracker... This month is starting pretty well so far.

Once again, Charlotte decided to wake up at 5:30am this morning so once again I went down the beach with her. I think she loves it as much as her father... Long life to Morning Bondi, the succession is covered! ;)

Today no jokes I saw literally 20 cockatoos, they were everywhere. They are so noisy and cheeky that you can't really miss them...

Morning guys,

Today was pretty amazeball if you ask me...

Here are the few reasons why: I spent the whole morning with my daughter Charlotte, I was with my mates David, Hamish & Julius, bumped into a lot of my morning friends, the sunrise was just magnificent (as always you will tell me), it was so peaceful and serene...

Les archives. Another day, another rainy day… As I could see it was not raining, I ventured down much later than usual, around 6:45 am. I just arrived and a light drizzle started. What are the chances?! I joined my mates for a quick dip in the ocean and coffee at Chapter One (my unofficial gallery, they have five of my prints on the wall). Still worth going out, if you ask me… Have a great day my friends and stay warm as it’s a bit nippy at the moment. Ciao, Amo PS: I’m going camping this weekend with a bunch of mates but pretty sure I don’t have the right equipment to cope with the cold. I only have a summer sleeping bag… It’s going to be fun, they say. 🤦🏽‍♂️🥶

Rainy days. Do you know what rainy days mean? It means archive days. Here are photos from the past couple of months, most of them were my second favourite ones so you wouldn’t have seen them before. As you know, I love doing my Morning Bondi routine but it actually takes so much time. I’m talking about the photo bit especially. At the moment, I take photos from 6:30ish when the sun is up for roughly 30-40 minutes, then selection of the good photos for 20 mins, light edit the best ones for 10 mins, then write the morning blurb for 3-5 mins (I tend not to overthink this, as you can tell), then upload of each individual photos on the blog for 10 minutes, then newsletter for 5 minutes, then Instagram for 3 minutes, Facebook 3 minutes and Instagram Story 3 minutes. Basically, around 1.5 hours on average. So yes sometimes, I’m glad when it’s raining as I’m saving so much time. Have a beautiful day, despite the weather, and chat with you tomorrow, Xoxo Amo

Golden Sea. Slow start this morning, it was pretty average unless you could wait up to 8am (I couldn’t) to see the sun popping out behind the curtain of clouds. It was all about the golden reflection of the hidden sun on the water. Gold 24-carat for a few minutes. I don’t have much to tell you today except that if you live locally and love ‘Shark Tank’ TV show, you will love the local version of it. It’s called the Bondi Innovation Shark Tank organised by the @bondichamber and it’s next Wednesday at @hotelravesis You can find all the deets in the media release and book your tickets on the blog. I’m going with my awesome business partner Mary Proulx and supporting Sam Cust, one of the sharks (I think that’s what we call them). If you come down, let’s have a beer and break bread (what I love the most about our business name is that the puns are endless). I loaf you! (see) Amo

Nothing to worry about, it's just a tornado off North Bondi, ... 🌪️😲 I took this photo this morning around 9:30 am. I was shooting with @versefinejewellery in South Bondi when we saw this waterspout tornado coming out of nowhere. Scary much? Look closely and you can see the person around Ben Buckler's cliffs running for his life... That's all folks!

Pure Heaven. What another beautiful start to the day! While yesterday was all about big waves, today was all about the mad reflo on the sand - absolutely stunning. I was sitting just next to Morning Bondi HQ and was snapping like a maniac. Low-tide goodness. What a stunning morning! Today was all about the low-tide gold reflection. It was just the perfect conditions for photos. The problem, only a few people out including two metal hunters. I was with fellow Frenchy @dianeperreau all morning. I reckon she’s the most popular French person in Sydney. So many people are stopping her every morning to have a chat and take a selfie with her. Have a lovely day my friends, Ciao, Amo

Into the wild. What a cracker of a morning! For a change of scenery, I ventured down to Bronte this morning. I reckon I made the right choice, it was just an incredible show. I was with my mate @paolocattaneophoto for the entire morning and we were just looking at the waves rolling in. Bronte Pool was the best place in da house. If you follow me on Instagram, you would have seen the very rare video of me talking to the camera. With @bread_agency, my agency, I recently started working with the team from @in2thewild.aus, the best tiny houses business around. In order to have a better understanding of the experience, the client kindly invited me to go for a couple of days with my wife and daughter. Real legends, best onboarding! The whole experience was amazing - especially for someone like me that is pretty hyperactive. I just ‘re-wilded’ for two days. Even though the network was working where we were, I put my phone in airplane mode the whole weekend and made the most of the experience. The tiny house was kitted with all the things that you need, all the products in there are premium and sourced from ethical brands. Let’s be honest the firepit and outdoor bath were the highlights for me. I would highly recommend it to anyone, especially if you are like me and struggle to switch off. They are running a Winter Campaign which is all about swapping your usual beach days for days in the wild. FriYay. How’s everyone today? After two days in Melbs (Melbourne for the hipsters), I’m back in the hood. What a morning! Incredible light, the surf was ON and the Icebergs was packed - perfect for photo ops. This morning I caught up with my mate Ben, a fellow Frenchy that I haven’t seen for years. We hung out around the Bergs and finished with a swim in South Bondi - how original. Enjoy your weekends my friends. Mine is going to be pretty epic. I’m going into the wild, literally.
