Hey team,

I have to be honest this morning was pretty average... It can't be beautiful all the time you are going to tell me. Well, I would love to!

We went to the jungle gym in North Bondi with Bertie, it was packed!!! You can tell that summer is coming, we are all trying hard to get our summer body. Fair enough! Then as always: coffee, photos, chit chat with my morning friends and swim...

Tonight is going to be pretty cool, I've been invited to celebrate Spring at the Hotel Ravesis. Last year, I had a ball so I'm sure tonight is going to be a great partay! Thanks also to the fine team from The Exchange Agency for the invite. See you there peeps!

Morning Bondiiii,

How's everyone today?!

This morning was amazeball for literally 5 minutes but trust me there were well worth it. I was just arriving down the beach that the sky started to turn all pink. Perfect timing!

After this pretty amazing light show, everything turned to grey and that was it...

We did boxing with the gang to sweat all the booze that we had over the weekend. Some people often say to me. "What? You train everyday, you must be super fit?!" On which I always respond "Yeah, you would think but unfortunately it's just to even out all the food and drinks that I'm having on weekends!" #Storyofmylife and #Imnot20anymore

OMG this morning was just perfect! The sunrise was a cracker, it was warm, we smashed a good sesh with the crew, coffee was excellent, heaps of happy people around and water was fab.

Hola friends!

Hope you all had a great weekend. Mine was pretty amazing, it all started with a surprise birthday party for my wife on Friday, a 3 year old birthday and a bucks party on Saturday night / Sunday morning 3:30am (good effort!) and a really chilled Sunday looking after the little one... I have posted it all on my personal Instagram Stories account @amaurytreguer

This morning all my mates bailed so I went alone for a run / photo journey up to Bronte and back. Sculptures by the Sea are on and so I stopped along the way to capture the ones that I thought were worthwhile a stop.

Then when I got back to Chapter One, there were all there still talking about our pretty epic Saturday night.

Morning my friends,

Wet... No I'm not talking about the terrible weather that we have today but about the fact that yesterday I got wet with the Olympus underwater case. I knew that the weather was going to be rubbish today and that people will want to remember how gorgeous was yesterday so here you go...

So yesterday I went down the beach with good looking and Fox Sport presenter Matt Suleau. I know his surname sounds French like me but he isn't - a real Aussie. We spent a good hour in the water taking photos. I was getting pretty cold at the end but well worth it if you ask me.

Yesterday was a pretty special day for Morning Bondi as the official Instagram and Twitter accounts of Tourism Australia shared my favourite 'First in, first ripples' photo with their 2.7 million followers - check it here. So far, on Instagram only the photo has received more than 65,500 likes and over 350 comments and counting... Not that I'm counting! ;) If you want to purchase it, it's all possible peeps - all the info here and see it in very big there.

Morning Bondiiiii,

Hope you all had a good night sleep.

This morning was pretty special down there, the sunrise was quite nice, it was warm, there were heaps of people around, we did boxing with the gang and the water was delicious.

Not much to say other than life is good and if you live around Bondi or a beach, go for a swim before work - best way to wake-up...

PS: This story kind of made me laugh, especially considering that I bump into this guy nearly every morning and I know exactly where he lives. I wouldn't say good on him but we still need to fix this issue. It's getting beyond ridiculous all these bikes around...

Morning my friends,

Long time, no decent sunrise... This morning was pretty stunning especially from where I was standing: Bondi Icerbergs pool.

Last minute change of plans my mates decided to go for an Icebergs swim instead of hill sprints. To be honest it didn't bother me too much as I had my Olympus water housing with me and was planning to go in the water to take photos anyway. Perfect timing guys!

God, I love the Icebergs - such an amazing spot and a great way to start your day. As every Friday, it was super clean (after yesterday's clean) and busy. The Neil Rogers squad was there and heaps of other people...

Happy Friday!

Hope you all had a great week. Mine was intense with heaps of work and meetings so pretty glad that it's over soon.

This morning was glorious for 15 minutes only and we were at the perfect spot for it - South Bondi grass. As every Friday we did hill sprints and push-ups with the crew, then what we do best: coffee, chit chat and swim.

Morning peeps,

Hope you are all well.

This morning was pretty good down there, it all started with a beautiful orange sunrise. The mist all around created some interesting colours afterwards.

We went to jungle gym with the gang, quick coffee at Chapter One and then I shot some fashun.

My good mate Charles is importing the brand Veja to Australia. Veja is a pretty hot and ecological brand of sneakers coming all the way from France. I had my first pair of Veja at least 10 years ago and I love everything about them. Anyway, enough selling, check their website for more info and go and try them on at Tuchuzy shop in Bondi Beach. Who knows you might even bump into Phoebe, who was the model for the shoot and work there too!

Long weekend

Morning my friends,

Long time no speak... After a pretty hectic week last week and a three-day weekend, I feel like it's been ages that I haven't wrote something on the blog.

Hope you all had a great long weekend and you are ready to kick-off this four-day week.

This weekend felt already like summer with 1000's of people coming down the beach to enjoy the weather and slightly warmer water. I personally didn't have a chance to lay down on the beach as it was not recommended for my healing daughter but next weekend I'm definitely up for it.

Morning my friends,

My apologies for the radio silence over the last 4 days but I was at the hospital for most of it. Our little Charlotte had a pretty nasty ear infection, she had to be operated under general anesthesia. A massive thank you to all the staff from the Randwick Children's Hospital, you have been amazing all the way, we can't thank you enough! If you want to see some photos of our little warrior, here you go.

It felt so good to go back to the beach this morning and knowing that everything is back to normal now. On top of this, it was stunning down there!

Morning my friends,

No beach for me this morning as I had to look after a sick child at home, as I pretty much did all weekend really. Child care is pretty annoying I have to say... Every second week, Charlotte is getting sick, they should rename the place 'germ care'. Don't you worry parents, we make sure that your kids catch them all - like Pokemons! (haha)

Anyway, enough ranting for now but this weekend was definitely not the best, we are now all sick in the fam! Fun times, I can tell ya!

On a more positive note, this gave me a bit of time to dig into my hard drives and find some of my favourites photos from last Summer... So here you go, a small selection for you before I get to upload them in specific galleries in the coming weeks.

Morning my friends,

Today I got to do exactly what I was intending to do (no baby to look after) , i.e. going in the water with the Olympus water housing.

It was incredibly rippy around South Bondi, I got dragged along all around the place and did struggle to go back to shore. At some stage, I actually thought that the best option was to come back via the stairs of the Icebergs.

Anyway, made it to the sand and pretty happy with the result... Worth the struggle if you ask me!

Plan B

Morning my friends,

Nothing goes according to the plan that's what they say...

Plan A was wake-up at 5:20am, get ready, take my Olympus water housing and go straight in the water to take some photos while waiting for my mates to join me around 7am in the water.

Plan B (which was not really planned) was wake up at 4:30am with a crying baby, trying to fall asleep again but impossible so getting ready while giving breakfast to a grumpy baby, take her down the sand with me and joined my mates at the coffee shop at 7am. That's basically what happened today!

Well, I have to stay Plan B was not too bad neither as I love spending time with here in the morning... Here are the photos from this morning.

Morning my friends,

After a pretty tough weekend looking after a sick kid, pretty hard to find the motivation today. Childcare is terrible for kids, they get sick every second week...

Charlotte woke-up at 5am this morning so decided to bring her down the beach with me. She mainly wanted to stay in my arms which gave me an extra handicap when taking the photos.

Morning my friends,

What's the day today? It's Birth-Day! Or at least, it's mine... :)

This morning was just fantastic down there, the temperatures dropped a little outside and inside the water but still pretty amazing if you ask me.

It was mayhem, between all the different PT classes, the runners along the beach, the swimmers at the Bergs, the 100's of surfers catching the 100's of waves coming through and breaking all over the place. You can tell that Spring has Sprung and everyone is getting their body ready for Summer.

We did hill sprints with Hamish & Paul, then coffee, photos and swim. Normal routine really...

I'm personally fine but I'm awake since 1am with massive insomnia. Quite annoying to be honest!

This morning we went to the jungle gym with the gang, did our 15 minute challenge: 5 chin-ups, 10 push-ups, 10 crunches, quick run, all this in 1.30 minutes, 10 times.

Then quick coffee, swim and straight to work as I had another early meeting. Once again, my apologies for the delay in posting.

Morning my friends,

I know, I know.. what you are going to tell me. How come you didn't post earlier? Well, I was only meant to stay an hour in the water as I had an early meeting today but the sun took a bit of time to show its face and I got slightly too excited and stayed an extra 20 minutes. I'm obsessed with my new Olympus toy!

I then had to rush home, quickly edit the photos and then go to work. My morning was full of meetings up to now... I'm a busy man you know! ;)

Les archives. Another day, another rainy day… As I could see it was not raining, I ventured down much later than usual, around 6:45 am. I just arrived and a light drizzle started. What are the chances?! I joined my mates for a quick dip in the ocean and coffee at Chapter One (my unofficial gallery, they have five of my prints on the wall). Still worth going out, if you ask me… Have a great day my friends and stay warm as it’s a bit nippy at the moment. Ciao, Amo PS: I’m going camping this weekend with a bunch of mates but pretty sure I don’t have the right equipment to cope with the cold. I only have a summer sleeping bag… It’s going to be fun, they say. 🤦🏽‍♂️🥶

Rainy days. Do you know what rainy days mean? It means archive days. Here are photos from the past couple of months, most of them were my second favourite ones so you wouldn’t have seen them before. As you know, I love doing my Morning Bondi routine but it actually takes so much time. I’m talking about the photo bit especially. At the moment, I take photos from 6:30ish when the sun is up for roughly 30-40 minutes, then selection of the good photos for 20 mins, light edit the best ones for 10 mins, then write the morning blurb for 3-5 mins (I tend not to overthink this, as you can tell), then upload of each individual photos on the blog for 10 minutes, then newsletter for 5 minutes, then Instagram for 3 minutes, Facebook 3 minutes and Instagram Story 3 minutes. Basically, around 1.5 hours on average. So yes sometimes, I’m glad when it’s raining as I’m saving so much time. Have a beautiful day, despite the weather, and chat with you tomorrow, Xoxo Amo

Golden Sea. Slow start this morning, it was pretty average unless you could wait up to 8am (I couldn’t) to see the sun popping out behind the curtain of clouds. It was all about the golden reflection of the hidden sun on the water. Gold 24-carat for a few minutes. I don’t have much to tell you today except that if you live locally and love ‘Shark Tank’ TV show, you will love the local version of it. It’s called the Bondi Innovation Shark Tank organised by the @bondichamber and it’s next Wednesday at @hotelravesis You can find all the deets in the media release and book your tickets on the blog. I’m going with my awesome business partner Mary Proulx and supporting Sam Cust, one of the sharks (I think that’s what we call them). If you come down, let’s have a beer and break bread (what I love the most about our business name is that the puns are endless). I loaf you! (see) Amo

Nothing to worry about, it's just a tornado off North Bondi, ... 🌪️😲 I took this photo this morning around 9:30 am. I was shooting with @versefinejewellery in South Bondi when we saw this waterspout tornado coming out of nowhere. Scary much? Look closely and you can see the person around Ben Buckler's cliffs running for his life... That's all folks!

Pure Heaven. What another beautiful start to the day! While yesterday was all about big waves, today was all about the mad reflo on the sand - absolutely stunning. I was sitting just next to Morning Bondi HQ and was snapping like a maniac. Low-tide goodness. What a stunning morning! Today was all about the low-tide gold reflection. It was just the perfect conditions for photos. The problem, only a few people out including two metal hunters. I was with fellow Frenchy @dianeperreau all morning. I reckon she’s the most popular French person in Sydney. So many people are stopping her every morning to have a chat and take a selfie with her. Have a lovely day my friends, Ciao, Amo

Into the wild. What a cracker of a morning! For a change of scenery, I ventured down to Bronte this morning. I reckon I made the right choice, it was just an incredible show. I was with my mate @paolocattaneophoto for the entire morning and we were just looking at the waves rolling in. Bronte Pool was the best place in da house. If you follow me on Instagram, you would have seen the very rare video of me talking to the camera. With @bread_agency, my agency, I recently started working with the team from @in2thewild.aus, the best tiny houses business around. In order to have a better understanding of the experience, the client kindly invited me to go for a couple of days with my wife and daughter. Real legends, best onboarding! The whole experience was amazing - especially for someone like me that is pretty hyperactive. I just ‘re-wilded’ for two days. Even though the network was working where we were, I put my phone in airplane mode the whole weekend and made the most of the experience. The tiny house was kitted with all the things that you need, all the products in there are premium and sourced from ethical brands. Let’s be honest the firepit and outdoor bath were the highlights for me. I would highly recommend it to anyone, especially if you are like me and struggle to switch off. FriYay. How’s everyone today? After two days in Melbs (Melbourne for the hipsters), I’m back in the hood. What a morning! Incredible light, the surf was ON and the Icebergs was packed - perfect for photo ops. This morning I caught up with my mate Ben, a fellow Frenchy that I haven’t seen for years. We hung out around the Bergs and finished with a swim in South Bondi - how original. Enjoy your weekends my friends. Mine is going to be pretty epic. I’m going into the wild, literally.
